Once you've finished working with a file, save it and close the application window. Do any of the following:

•Click the button and run the Close command from the main menu.

•Click  Close in the application window title bar.

•When working in macOS, run the File > Close command from the command menu.

•Press Alt+F4 (Windows, Linux) or  Cmd+Q (macOS).
